Volunteers are a vital part of the Amelia Island Film Festival. We count on volunteers and appreciate their time, commitment and dedication. Our volunteers help create an unparalleled event that showcases filmmakers and content creators from around the world as we celebrate the art of cinema. As the face of the festival, volunteers must maintain a professional, energetic and courteous demeanor at all times. Submit the online application by November 1, 2022.
Volunteers are responsible for their own lodging, travel, transportation and meals.
Volunteer options include either 1) full-time (8hrs/day) or part-time (6hrs/day).
Volunteers selected for interviews will be notified before November 15, 2022. We receive a large amount of volunteer applications and will ONLY contact you if we are interested in conducting an interview.
After interviews, you will be notified by email within 2-3 weeks if you have been selected as a volunteer. Once you accept you will receive your responsibilities and schedule no later than January 15, 2023.
Festival polo shirts and pass credentials will be provided at the volunteer orientation.
Volunteers must be available to work the entire festival in-person.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age at the time the application is submitted.
Email is our primary method of communication. Volunteers must have the ability to receive, read and respond to email in a timely manner.
Volunteers must adhere to the dress code including festival polo shirt (provided by AIFF) and khaki pants, shorts or skirt while working the festival.
Volunteers should not wear festival polo shirt when off duty.
Volunteers are representatives of the festival and should be professional, energetic and courteous at all times.
Volunteers cannot take photographs with talent on-site while working.
Volunteers cannot hand out scripts, resumes or business cards while working.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes since you may stand and walk for long periods of time.
The festival does not provide meals, however beverages and snacks will be available.
